NCLC 5
French level for the LMIA-exempt Francophone Mobility work permit
Express Entry's bilingual bonus awards up to 50 CRS points for NCLC 7 French alongside strong English — and dedicated French-language category draws have run with far lower cutoff scores than general draws.
The Francophone Mobility work permit (LMIA-exempt, exemption code C16) lets employers hire French speakers outside Quebec faster — no LMIA fee, no mandatory advertising — at a relaxed NCLC 5 speaking-and-listening requirement.
Canada has set a national target to grow French-speaking permanent residents outside Quebec year over year, with most of that growth channelled through Express Entry.
French skills can open more options across Canada, especially in bilingual and Francophone minority communities that actively recruit French speakers.
Important: French A1 is the starting point of this journey, not a Canadian immigration score. The Express Entry bilingual bonus needs NCLC 7 in all four abilities, and Francophone Mobility needs NCLC 5 in speaking and listening — both several levels beyond A1. Progressing from A1 to those levels, and sitting an approved TEF Canada or TCF Canada exam, is a separate, longer path.

By the end of the French A1 course, you will have learned how to:
Use common greetings and polite French expressions
Introduce yourself and ask basic personal questions
Talk about your nationality, profession, family and interests
Understand French numbers, dates and time
Communicate in cafés, shops and everyday situations
Ask for directions and basic travel information
Understand essential French pronunciation and sounds
Use common present-tense verbs
Form simple questions and negative sentences
Read and write short everyday messages
Participate in basic conversations spoken slowly and clearly
French can support future goals connected with Canada PR, Francophone immigration pathways, and other French-speaking regions. A1 is the beginning of that journey—not a Canadian immigration score or TEF/TCF result. Students interested in Canadian immigration must progress considerably beyond A1 and obtain the required result in an approved examination.

Yes! Our Live Online method is very effective. We use digital tools, audio clips, and live conversation practice.
No. Canada only awards CRS bonus points for an approved French test result at NCLC 7 or higher (per IRCC's own criteria). A1 by itself earns zero CRS points — it is the starting rung of a long ladder (A1 → A2 → B1 → B2), not an immigration score.
No. EEC teaches to the CEFR A1 syllabus and the DELF A1 exam format so you are prepared for it, but exam registration and the official DELF A1 certificate are handled separately through Alliance Française.
₹7,500 covers 1 month of daily live classes. It does not cover the full A1 syllabus, which runs 2 months in total — a second monthly payment of ₹7,500 is needed to complete it.
Yes, you get an EEC Completion Certificate for the course. This is not the official DELF A1 certificate — that is issued separately by Alliance Française after you sit the DELF A1 exam there.
Classes are live only — we do not provide session recordings. Let your teacher know and they will help you catch up in the next class.
The course, the hours, and the syllabus are identical either way — you just choose how to pay.

French A1 is a beginner course — no previous knowledge of French is required. It suits anyone starting from zero: students working toward Canada PR, those planning to study in Canada, France or another French-speaking region, and anyone who simply wants to learn French from the beginning.
Classes are 100% live on Zoom with a certified teacher, Monday to Friday — sessions are not recorded and there are no physical books. The course also includes 5 mock tests and 200+ hours of video lessons.
The complete A1 syllabus runs 2 months of live classes (1 hour a day, Monday to Friday). You can pay 1 month at a time and continue month to month until you finish.
Classes run Monday to Friday, 1 hr × 1 a day. Your class time is shared with you once your live batch is scheduled.
No — ₹7,500 pays for 1 month of classes only. The complete A1 syllabus runs 2 months, so students pay ₹7,500 again for the next month to complete it.
No. EEC teaches to the CEFR A1 syllabus and the DELF A1 exam format so you are ready for it, and you receive an EEC completion certificate — but the official DELF A1 certificate and exam registration are separate and handled directly through Alliance Française.
No. Canada only awards CRS bonus points for an approved French test result at NCLC 7 or higher. French A1 by itself earns zero CRS points and does not qualify anyone for any Canadian bonus-points program — it is the first step of a much longer path.
